Recreatig Big Buck Bunny

Big Buck Bunny was my first project that had video. When is was assigned this project I had to recreate all the music, Foley, sound effects. Before is started to work on this project I watched the original to try and brainstorm ideas and see how could i make this better.  Also while i was watching the animation I had a pro tools session opened so i can make markers on where the sound should go and labeled it what type of sound I needed. The good thing about animation is you can fill it up with sounds. From walking in grass to walking to the desert. Even when the animals laugh then start throwing stuff. I had a lot of fun working on this project. The creative side of me exploded. As I worked on Big Buck Bunny I noticed that I had a style to this project that was using musical tones for some of the footsteps and some of the effects. When I noticed that I knew this was going to turn out great. The butterfly for example I used chimes to make the butterfly pop a little; I also panned the sound so when the butterfly hides or goes away so does the sound. All in all the animation was a lot fun. There was a lot of challenges that I had to overcome while working on this project. My biggest challenge was time management. To over come this I had to make a schedule and stick to it.
